Fishing has been fair in the Lower Laguna Madre over the past week. Poor water clarity has hindered fishing efforts. Some near limits of specks have been taken around the ICW spoils. Afternoon bite has been best. Snook have been slow. Redfish have been okay in the shallows. Mangrove snapper and sheepshead good around the causeways and in the ship channel.
