Fishing has been fairly slow in the Lower Laguna Madre over the past week. Some decent catches of black drum, sheepshead and speckled trout have been taken in the South Bay channels. Fishermen working the ICW drops have also faired well on schoolie specks. Decent numbers of specks and reds have been found along the west side in areas like Holly Beach, Airport Cove and South Cullen.
