Today we have a feature fishing report straight from Port Mansfield with Captain Mike McBride. Mike shares a TON of helpful information covering everything from jigheads to using braided line, plus some tips for fishing for trout and redfish in Texas. He also reviews some of the different reels he has been using lately, including the Shimano Curado, and other gear that helps with South Texas fishing.
A major part of Captain McBride’s fishing philosophy is the importance of reading the water. He won’t give away all the secrets here, but if you listen in you might pick up a few tips on how to read the conditions yourself.
